| I stayed here because it is only a mile from the airport. It is also a short walk to the Atheletics ball park or arena. The hotel is located on a quiet street off the main road. My room was spacious with a comfortable king size bed. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a nice continental breakfast provided. I had a pleasant stay.

| When my husband and I arrived in Oakland on an impromptu weekend getaway, we were not sure what to expect from a very low-priced hotel minutes from the Oakland Airport. But to our surprise it was the best find ever! This hotel was recently purchased and the new owner has been renovating it ever since. The lobby is very nice, with marble floors and new luxurious couches. They have a state-of-the-art coffee brewing system that is entirely complimentary. The rooms are very decent, nothing fancy, but gets the job done. Continental breakfast was nice and their free use of their computer, internet, and printer was excellent. We were able to print out our boarding passes the same day we were checking out. But the best feature is the service from the staff. They allow you to call when you are ready and will drive you to the BART station and pick you up at your convenience. You truly do not need a car (though there is a huge, free parking lot). They drove us to a local restaurant one night, and picked us up when were done. Always courteous and professional, and always willing to help out and answer your questions. I am planning another trip up north, and will be making my reservation at La Quinta. What you get for your money cannot be beat!

| Hotel was nice, but location bad, right by freeway, area around had nothing to offer, dangerous to walk around to the nearby Burger King. It was close to a BART station - if you are brave enough to walk there! Good place to stay if you have your own transportation.

| The best was the shuttle from the airport and to the BART. The hotel was a little shabby, and the hotel staff was not real attentive. A decent breakfast bar.

| Overall we were satisfied with the hotel - the room was clean and comfortable; the breakfast was very nice. The only downside: we arrived late at night and could not reach the night manager to arrange shuttle service from the airport. Had to take a cab instead - single night manager, phone ringing constantly - no way he could deal with it. Arrange transport early in the day. Otherwise, nice place.

| We had great service and the people were very friendly. They transported us to the game and BART station even after we checked out of the hotel the morning of our departure. The transportation locally is a great perk and we'll stay there again.
