| The hotel itself was having the pool re-done which I knew prior to my arrival. The staff was very friendly and helpful with an eager to please attitude. I was impressed with the amenities of the room as well, except for the one filthy chair in the corner. The continental breakfast is very basic but had all the necessities.

| This isn't the budget hotel you associate with LaQuinta, but a really nice downtown gem with a casual atmosphere. Despite the disruption of Katrina they're going strong, and as one expects in NOLA, it's run by nice people.

| From the moment that I walked in at 1AM, the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the French Quarter, and easy walk to several nice eateries. The employees are very helpful and quick to address any problems. No noticable damage from Katrina. I will stay here again.

| This hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and it's 3 short blocks from the French Quarter. We were there the day before Katrina hit and our departure was hetic but the front desk was helpful and calm.

| Definitely a pleasant surprise. Was worried at such a reasonable price that we would have to compromise some but the opposite was true. Super-friendly and attentive staff. Very nice, clean, comfortable room with powerful A/C. Cute pool/hot tub area, could have used a few more lounge chairs, though. Free breakfast not bad. Great location, two blocks up to Canal street streetcars. Highly recommended.

| This hotel was great. The staff was overly friendly and offered to help all the time. Willing to book tours and get anything you needed. Was down there during the threat of Hurricane Dennis. Staff sent around tips on what to do in case the hurricane struck New Orleans. The breakfast was decent, could of been beter but at least they offer you the complimentary breakfast, some hotels don't. It is 2 blocks from Canal street even with Chartres on the other side of Canal. Great Location for acess to St Charles St Car which is a block, Canal is 2 blocks, on the city bus line stop. Banks close plus a UPS store 2 blocks away.

| Room was quiet and clean, staffs are not well trained but nice enough. Good location for all attractions. Free continental breakfast was okay. It is self service and disposable cups and plates are provided. So we usually bring those to room. Pool and hot tub is very small and the water is not clean.. If someone wants to spent time in the pool need to consider other place. Overall, nice staying and satisfied.

| Overall we had a very good experience at this hotel. It was a very affordable option, and we benefited from the perks of having breakfast included and free internet access. The room was decent, but not as clean as we had anticipated. Neverthess, we would go back again.
