| We got stuck in a smoking room which stank to high heaven, and they could not seem to find a non-smoking room for us on the first floor. There is no elevator, and my husband cannot climb stairs.

| This hotel is the closest to the airport. They have 24 hour van service if you get in to anchorage after alll the car rental facilities are closed. Less than 10 min. from downtown even in winter snow.
