| My family really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, especially the excursion staff who helped us get to Bora Bora.

| Apart from the lovely friendly, staff management seemed non existent. The rooms were spacious and while I changed from less expensive room to higher priced on the weekend (due to no availability of lower priced room) there did not appear to be much difference except for a higher floor location. But the rooms are nice and so is the Hotel and staff. At the beginning of the week they closed the cheaper dining room and my three complaints about a noisy fire extinquisher outside my room went unanswered.

| The Sheraton Tahiti is very well located, half-way between the airport and the town center. A bus ("le truck") can take you to town for $1.30. The staff is very nice, helpful and amenable. They let us use their facilities one week after we spent only one night in the hotel, and were again very helpful and welcoming. The view is top; the pool pleasant, shaped like a lagoon and the sunset on their terrace hard to beat! The architecture is well-adapted and the rooms very nicely decorated. I would go back there and would recommend it to anyone.

| Hotel and service were excellent but there is nothing to do in Papeete. Please don't waste money and your vacation staying in this city. Go to Moorea or Bora Bora. Tahiti is very expensive and I found it to be way over rated for nothing. Your are better off going to the Hawaian islands.

| Although we stayed there for only one night, it was a very nice experience. The hotel has a lot of beautiful stone and wood work. The infinity pool has a beautiful waterfall and really looks like it is part of the ocean. It is 10 minutes from the airport to catch those connecting flights to the other Islands.

| The hotel room had mold growing on the ceiling, in the bathroom, and just generally smelled bad. The quality doesn't meet the standards of a high cost hotel.
