| You get what you pay for.. The service is exceptional, although the hotel in of itself could improve its rooms (the rooms are mediocre at best). All in all, however, given the price you pay, it's still a great deal and I can't wait to go back!

| This hotel is perfect for people on a budget and also for people who prefer to stay at the hotel. However, it is also very close to Santo Domingo and La Romana for those who want to experience more of the Dominican Republic! The hotel has something for everyone. The staff and food are excellent!

| The same food every day. I asked for a double bed room but had to change due to smell. The beach has too many rocks,t.v. had no picture,we were there 18 days because the trip was already paid for no choice. The staff at the front don't help one with problems,I asked for another bed when changing rooms and was suggested to throw two mattress on the floor because hotel was full to capacity but the animation staff was incredibly friendly and wonderfull with my daughter, they were marvelous........

| We went there for one week for our one year anniversary. It was terrible from the 1st day to the last day. The girls at the front desk were rude. The gave us a room with no view. The beds for hard and lumpy. The food was practically the same every day. The pool deck was horrible you could not walk on it without shoes. The beach was pretty but small and had many rocks. The main entrance to the place was horrible no signs the road was full of pot holes. The whole place in general needs an overhaule.

| I was a bit concerned b/c I read a lot more bad reviews than good after I booked the vacation but before we left. I am glad that I hadn't seen them first b/c I may have changed my mind. It was not a 5 star resort, but to go and relax and just hang out, drinks and meals included... Well we did and we enjoyed ourselves. Entertainment was ok, got a bit repetative but could have been worse. The staff was nice, the grounds were fantastic, pools clean and gorgeous and the beach was good. All in all I would say I would go back for more fun in the sun.

| It was deffinately an experience. Between the poor selection of buffet at the one resturant available, the leak in the ceiling in the bathroom which was never fixed after endless trys, the lack of snorkeling in there "boxed" beach, the best part was coming home.

| The hotel is priced just right for budget travelers, especially during the Spring break time. It is great for families and couples. The food was good. I made reservations for me and my 8 year old son at the Italian restaurant every night of our stay. The staff at the hotel were friendly and courteous. There was nightly entertainment. The shocker for Americans is the topless sunbathing. However, the only negative part of the vacation was the changing of the rooms three times from the old section to a newer section in the 400 series. (The guest service lady was very helpful and if there was a problem, fixed it right away.) There was no hot water and getting towels for the room was a chore. Outside of that, we really enjoyed the pool, me the bar, the beach with volleyball and dancing and various people from around the world.

| As 2 young girls traveling alone we had an awesome time! The staff was friendly, but there were too many topless eurpoeans for us. A plus was that the resort was popular with the locals, so you didn't have to travel to meet dominican guys. Know your popular spanish phrases before you head here and you'll be in heaven! The beach was too crowded with vendors but several pools were at the resort and its sister hotel (which you can use).
