| Imagine a dump: water stained ceilings, stained ragged carpeting, graffiti carved into the elevator...Now add terrible service, no hot water (for which you will be charged $3 a night) and being trapped upstairs because the only elevator broke down. Have you ever seen a silk plant die? You will at the Golden Palm. It would be funny if it hadn't happened to me.

| From the outside it looks like a cheap day rate motel. The cafe was aweful- they had only one person working at all times and the food was terrible. My sheets were stained and disgusting and when I asked for them to be changed, I was actually offered a new room. I waited for about half an hour for my new room before I realized that the clerk had forgotten about me. I did eventually get the new room. Everything smells like stale cigarettes, and rooms are furnished with the bare minimum. The only good thing about this "hotel" was that the strip was within walking distance- so only book here if you don't plan on staying in the room much... and if you don't mind sleeping in filth.

| This place smelled disgusting, there were stains everywhere, wallpaper peeling off was the norm. The cafe was sick and I'm not sure how you would consider the few slot machines a "casino". No good at all. Will NEVER go cheap in Vegas again.

| The hotel looks like it was built in the 50's and hasn't been maintained since. The shower in my room had a hole in it from where the handle bar was. Definitely less than the 2 stars that it was rated. The day staff was useless also. They gave the wrong directions to places.

| This was listed as a cheap hotel but I never expected it to be that bad. The room was dirty and there were ants all over the bathroom. There were holes in the walls and peeling wallpaper. Iwouldn't bring my family there if it was the lasthotel in Las Vegas. It should be called the Golden Hole, not the Golden Palm.
