| Beautiful older hotel with historical charm. Lobby is comfortable to hang out and drink coffee with cozy chairs and beautiful chandeliers. Starbucks is located right in the lobby. There is an irish pub located in the hotel which had great service. The hotel is older, so there was some small maitenance problems that I could overlook. You could park you car across the street cheaply. I would definitely stay there again!

| Recently renovated, this grand old hotel and its woderful staff made the whole trip a treat. New beds were great, although the small bathrooms (evidence of its age) are a tight fit. The concierge, bellmen, maids and waitstaff could not have been more helpful, and Expedia special pricing made this four-star hotel better deal than several lesser hotels in the area.

| 1. They do not have a shuttle from or to the airport. there is a bus that runs the route which costs almost $20. A taxi to the hotel cost about $35 and back to the airport $32. 2. the wireless router on my floor did not work so I was not able to access the internet. I was on the phone with the technician for a half hour "trouble- shooting"; she said she was going to hand off the problem to a more knowledgable person when we lost our connection. They did not call back. Nobody came up to the room to see what was wrong. They just blamed my computer even after I borrowed one of their wireless NICs, which they were going to charge me $10.68 per day for. These things cost less then $40, so if you rent it for 4 days you might as well buy it. Generally speaking the property is nicely upgraded thought the rooms are too small for the furniture they put in them.

| We enjoyed the hotel very much. The lobby alone is worth the visit. It is a reminder of the elegance of years gone by. The room was comfortable but a little on the small side. Good restaurant in hotel - a little pricy, but good dining. There is a pub for lighter fare. Great and very busy Starbucks in lobby.

| Omni hotel is quiet and grand. However the building seems old hence some of the things like vent and thermostat wasn't working as well as it should. But what made it worth the trip was that the manager was a really cool guy.

| Beautiful old hotel in downtown, but definitely aimed more at the business/convention crowd than at families. Our needs, as a family of 5, would have been better met at a suite style hotel with fewer down comforters and a microwave instead. Parking a nightmare.

| We stayed here in August 2006 and found the hotel to be lovely and the staff to be extremely helpful. One curtain was down in our room, but it was fixed up the day that we reported it to the desk. Comfortable beds. The Terrace restaurant food was excellent.

| We were looking for a place in downtown Pittsburgh to spend the night in order to attend a baseball game at PNC Park (Pirates stadium). Wanted someplace we could walk to and from to avoid parking hassles. The William Penn was very nice and with the central location was perfect for the stay. The lobby area is all about the old world charm, chandeliers, moldings, furnishings - all appropriate to the period. The staff was professional and responsive. The guest were a little on the snooty side - mostly business travelers. The walk to the park was fine - they have done a lot to clean up downtown Pittsburgh. The gym/workout facility in the hotel is awesome! Parking is $24 a night - pretty steep.
