| Our overall impression of this hotel was less than stellar. We'd chosen this hotel partially so our kids could swim. The pool was drained. Based on the appearance of the pool area, this might have been a good thing. The dead bird in the parking lot and the hotels inability to fulfill our request for a first floor room (there are no elevators) left an overall poor impression. The pictures online are less than acurate.

| The Red Lion is a nice place if you have to stay in Klamath. It has a good proximity to Highway 97 and was clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant that all the locals called the best in town - Mr. B's Steakhouse. Good food, close to the hotel (a few blocks) and just what we needed after driving all day.

| We could not get housekeeping to clean the room on Monday..Tuesday was okay..Wed they cleaned maybe half the bedroom..Thurs they cleaned the other half but did not bring us clean towels or coffee..we were on an official house hunting trip and we needed a statement from the hotel for all the charges..we asked everyday what our rate was and they could not tell us..they stated they didn't know..then they would not give us a paid invoice when we checked out..restaurant is really great.

| This Red Lion is an older hotel that is consistent in comfort. The staff was very helpful with reservation mix ups as well. A good business hotel.
