| This isn't a fancy hotel by a longshot. My biggest problem with the hotel was the tiny TV in the room had bad color. Half the screen was green, and they didn't replace it for us. Also the door keys kept failing. They usually stopped working after one or two uses. I was told by the staff it is because they have been re-used so many times, but I'm not sure that is true. No matter what it is, there isn't a good excuse for a major hotel chain to have those kinds of problems. The air conditioning in our room was slow to cool the room and occasionally VERY noisy. Guests in other rooms also complained about problems with air conditioning. On the good side, the hotel staff were actually pretty nice to us. I accidentally left a bag at the desk during check-in and they called us as soon as we got to our room for me to come down and get it. They also helped us find someplaces to eat close by other than their own resturant and the Denny's across the way. Compared to the service experiences we had in the rest of Philly, I thought the hotel staff was very good to us.

| As parents of a freshman UM student, we loved staying here. We took the short shuttle ride back and forth a few times a day. Traffic on route 1 was crazy and we were so pleased not to have to drive. Room accommodations were fine and the pool was very nice.

| Nothing comfortable about this hotel. Place smelled like a big ashtray, even my non-smoking room. Room was shabby, bed was uncomfortable, bathroom old and floor was dirty. TV was small small small. People smoking in the elevators. Not a very pleasant stay. Way too much money for the accomadations.

| Hotel was fine...We only stayed one night but were allowed to leave our parked car while we flew from Philadelphia airport. In the future, however, the bill will be considerably higher because they will charge for this parking. Seems fair enough. The shuttle service TO the aiport was NOT free, though it was free from airport to hotel. I can't figure that one out!

| The lobby staff here were very friendly and helpful. However, the waiters at the restaurant were on their own schedule. If you are in a hurry ask for your check when your food arrives. Note that this is the norm in Spain, so not necessarily a reflection on Bellamar.

| This hotel was probably very nice a couple of decades ago, but its now showing age. There were bad patch jobs in the walls of the room and the bathroom. I would recommend another hotel.
