The fitness room with cardio machines and free weights is open from early morning to late evening. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas (surcharge). | Had fun, great hotel,great staff will come back. went with my family 7 of us 2 rooms same floor really no complaints except that Montreal is quite expensive but the hotel was great good location

| This was a very nice hotel. We had a little trouble parking because we arrived late, but they were able to accomodate us after some discussion. The room was big and comfortable. The bathroom was a little dirty with black mold and a stopped up drain. The location was great! We were able to walk to all the attractions with 2 children. We would definately go back!

| My family and I stayed here for 4 days. The room was spacious. The location was excellent - at the foot of Mont Royal, a short walk to shopping and dining. We even walked to Chinatown and Old Montreal. Even though we drove ,we only took the car out of the garage once to visit Westmont. I appreciated the free internet access at the business center, but chose to pay $10 for a 24 hour wireless access in my room. Whenever I return to Montreal I will try to stay at the Le Cantlie.

| Staffed primarily by teenagers my immediate impression of this hotel was sceptical at best. After being poorly informed of the parking situation or lack thereof, we found contrary to their direction a facility around the corner which would be lucky to house the smallest of compact cars at a lofty additional fee. Apparently the booking for this hotel pays little to no attention on whom they are renting rooms as we recieved little to no rest due to a number of college students spanning about 8 different rooms on our floor. They were loud, rude, destructive and they were never spoken to by management despite several requests. The rooftop "pool" is an enormous hassle to get to as the hotel utilizes 2 elevators to neccesitate 60 plus floors. There are however great views of the city from the rooms windows which are painted shut.

| We have stayed at Le Cantlie on two separate occasions, and have been quite pleased both times. Our room, on our last visit, was better than bargained for. Excellent location for seeing the downtown sights. We will stay there next visit.

| The location of the hotel is ideal. It is close to metro and the main downtown district. Extremly reasonable rates in compared to other hotels in the same area. The hotel is located about two blocks from the underground shopping. Rooms were clean and comfortable with the small kitchen. I was happy with the staff which was professional and fulfilled our every request.

| This location is tops. Close to all the action. I have read the bad reviews on this site and have to say to those people, get over it, this place is a wonderful 3 star hotel, with comfortable accomodations, great location, and very friendly and helpful staff. For a weekend getaway, I most certainly would come back to stay at this solid hotel. And the rates are very reasonable.

| The room was ok but I was not overly impressed, it was clean but not very modern. Four non matching lamps in the room, no hook on the back of the bathroom door, no radio or cd player and the view was an alley way. No outstanding amenities to lure me back.
