| This hotel was like a bad nightmare. Absolutely unclean, peeling wallpaper, mold/mildew on walls, stains on bed linens, urine smell, fleas even! Cigarette burns everywhere in a non smoking room...We could not wait to get out of there! At one point, there was no hot water. Please, please don't waste your money! We went to the closest store, which was miles away, and bought Lysol because it felt so unclean. Never again!

| We got there the week after Biketoberfest. The best single word to describe the entire facility is sticky. We just missed Blue Oyster Cult and Foghat giving live performances. I didn't realize they had fallen so low...

| Located between De Land and Daytona Beach just off I-4 on a rural road, this motel was an amazing find. During Biketoberfest, motel rates in Daytona Beach are very high. The Expedia price for this place was about half of those rates, and this is a high quality motel. Doc's, the motel's lounge, turned out to be renowned in the area as a gathering place. I enjoyed the free live bands on the outdoor stage set up for the festival on a large grassy area near the motel. The acoustics were such that when I got tired, I was able to go back to the room to sleep without the music keeping me up. There's an outdoor pool, a game room with pool tables, and a spacious bar. During race weeks or bike weeks, when the Daytona Beach rates go up, this is a good place to consider, or anytime if the price is right. It has a congenial atmosphere.

| The hotel room needed a lot of work. The only decent thing was that the beds were very comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. It's a little hard to find at night. There is only one road that leads to it and it is easy to miss. The room just looked like it had been neglected for a long time and had lots of parties.
