| Even if I were to become super rich, I would still stay at this hotel. And why not. For $50 (Expedia price), we had everything we needed--a clean, attractive hotel with a spotless bathroom, pool for cooling down, Denny's next door for dinner, and a very nice continental breakfast. Oh, and it was 2 miles from the Phx airport, so that made our airport trip a breeze--they even have airport shuttles, although we were returning a rental car.

| hotel is conveniently located near the airport. They do have a shuttle available free of charge to and from the airport. When I called the operator for the nearest LaQuinta in; I was connected to the north location and they stop airport pick up at 3 p.m. Thinking that this was the airport location; i took a taxi and spent $25 dollars for what seem to be a 2 mile trip. When i told the clerk about the cab fare; she was apologetic but couldn't give me a reimbursement or credit for the taxi fare. Since this was just a stop for a night; Denny's was just across the parking lot from the hotel which made it very convenient specially when you arrived late and hungry. I suggest that those who are traveling with kids to request a room near the lobby area. I didn't feel safe walking around the hotel late at night to get a drink or snack. The vending machine is located near the lobby area.

| This hotel is very hard to find. It is a bit run down, just off the freeway, and we chose it just to have a place to sleep after a late arrival. Nothing special, nothing awful. The "continental breakfast" was pretty low quality--all pre-packaged sugar junk, watery coffee, etc. (ok, the bananas were good!) Keep your expectations low, and it's fine for a place to sleep on the way to somewhere else.

| This room at La Quinta (Sky Harbor South) in Phoenix had everything I require as a traveler, including a blow dryer. The room was nice and cool for us when we arrived and the beds were very comfortable. A cafe was within easy walking distance.

| For as cheap as it was, this was a fine hotel. My only complaint is that their staff weren't great with directions when we called from the car rental place at the airport.

| Quick responses was given to my request for shuttle pick up from the airport. The front desk persons were friendly and helpful. The team of drivers were responsible and tolerant of my lateness. Thank you.
