| From Chicago and stayed the weekend with wife and kids (2 & 4)Good looking property. Resort prices. Good beds but bathroom space tight and a bit worn. Good dining options but limited for children. Make dinner reservations before arriving. Outdoor pool water too warm and by the day's end water too cloudy. Buffet/Grand Cafe restaurant plates smelled of eggs from morning bufett. Responsive staff, good service. Nice espresso/gelato kiosk in the lobby.

| The layout is dated, and on-grounds walking is limited because non-golfers are not welcome to wander among the flying balls. Though I did not see one golfer, just convention/ meeting attendees inside the building.

| The Grand Geneva reminds me of the hotel in the movie The Shining. You can definately tell it use to be the old Playboy Club -- with the dark woods and leather over stuffed sofa's in the bar area. The room was nice -- nothing special -- the bathroom was very small -- otherwise it was very nice. They hotel keeps the rooms very clean -- i think we had maid service 3 times in one day. And they seem to know what the guests are up to -- a little over priced for food and that but other wise very good.
