| The staff here bends over backward to help you --- very, very friendly. Location can't be beat: two blocks from the train and subway, a nice walk to the Ginza and Yurakucho districts. Hence you're just a short walk from many, many restaurants: no need to depend on hotel food! Also nice are the two convenience stores across the street from the hotel, and the nice coffee shop kitty corner from the hotel.

| It is very conveniently located at the edge of Ginza and next to a train station. Hotel lobby is not big but the room is pretty nice with separate bath and shower. Service is very good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

| We stayed here on our honeymoon trip to Tokyo, and we couldn't have been happier. The hotel staff was very nice and all spoke english very well. Room was very nice, but the bed was very firm like all Japanese beds. Restaurants in hotel were good, but fairly expensive, and I got food poisoning, presumably from the sushi. I can't hold that against the hotel though, since I could have gotten it anywhere, and the hotel staff was very helpful in getting medicine. Hotel had internet computers to use, and modems to rent for laptops. They also had convenient bus shuttle sevice to Narita, and the hotel is close to Shimbashi station, where we could get to anywhere we wanted in Tokyo. The concierge was very helpful in determining where to go. The only thing I didn't like was that the TV only had a few channels plus the pay channels, which were limited. But you don't want to stay in the hotel room anyway! Very nice, I would recommend this hotel to any English traveller to Japan.

| Definitely stay here. I stayed four nights and five days and my son and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel itself is extremely well maintained, the ammenities first rate, and the staff exceptionally competent and customer oriented. Not a day went by that I was not greeted warmly by everyone with whom I came in contact, from the housekeeper in the hallway to the front desk clerks. I loved the room. Between the high tech features and the large shower stall with a rain shower head I almost did not want to go out! The hotel location is an easy 3 block stroll to Ginza district and within walking distance to multiple subway stops. It is surrounded by other shops and restaurants. The only drawback is the lack of view to the harbor, but that is a small price to pay for all of the other great things. This would be my first choice for a return stay in Tokyo. I am looking forward to go back wiith my daughter for her 18th birthday.

| Quiet, clean, attentive, and helpful. This Hotel was everything I wanted for my Tokyo holiday. The underground passage to the subway lines was very convenient as well. I had no question that they could not answer nor any reasonable request that they did not fulfill. Don't stay anywhere else.

| I would recommend the Dai-Ichi to any family visiting Tokyo, for superb accommodations at a great price. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very well appointed. The staff all spoke English well and the service was oustanding. For those on a budget, there is a convenience store across the street, and inexpensive coffee shops and local restaurants nearby. We were able to walk easily to the hotel from Shimbashi station with all or luggage.

| Staying in the Dai-Ichi Tokyo in Ginza (not the Annex) was a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely helpful, the facilities were beautiful and the hotel was convenient. They have their own underground entrance to the Shimbashi Subway and Rail Station, are located in one of the trendier districts in Tokyo and are easily in walking distance to much of what you'll want to see in Tokyo or the subway trains that you'll need to get there.
