This three-story, European-style inn located near the beginning of Upstate New York’s Cayuga Wine Trail, is set on 70 acres above Cayuga Lake. Downtown Ithaca restaurants, shops, and galleries are three miles away. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle transportation to the airport, from early morning until late evening, and to Ithaca College and Cornell University from early morning until mid-afternoon. The lobby with open-hearth fireplace provides complimentary coffee and tea, and also features a computer, printer, and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Up to 135 guests can be accommodated in the two-level banquet facility with a flagstone patio, parquet dance floor, and a mahogany bar. Upon request, Continental breakfast (surcharge) will be delivered to guestrooms each day. Two clay tennis courts are on site, and Buttermilk Falls State Park is accessible from trails on the property. This is a smoke-free hotel.

Cayuga Lake, 4.5 miles away, features canoeing, kayaking, paddle boats, sightseeing tours, and other recreation. Thirteen miles away, Taughannock Falls State Park--with a 215-foot waterfall--offers swimming, ice skating, a marina, cross-country skiing, and also hosts a variety of seasonal entertainment. Bird watching, horse riding, and hot-air balloon rides are also available in the Ithaca area. Newman Municipal and Hillendale are among the local golf courses that are open to the public.
