| Until there is a major investment and renovation this cute and charming hotel does not have what it takes to be a great place. The buiding is fantastic but a larger scale, sweeping update is needed.

| This could be a quaint little hotel, however it would need much work; the carpet is dingy and stained, the drapes in the room were old and falling down, there was no bedspread - only a blanket on top of a sheet. Nothing came out of the hot water tap on the lavatory, and the heat didn't work in the room. Fortunately, I had friends in the area so they rescued me the next morning. My 3 night stay was only 1 - that's one night longer than I should have. In all fairness, I didn't give the manager the opportunity to correct things as I didn't even report the problems - I'm sure he was already aware.

| The decor is very attractive and great care has been given to creating a realistic late Victorian period atmosphere. The bed was certainly comfortable and room was very tidy. But the services are minimal at best.
