I just finished a 4-day stay at the Chamberlain and was impressed with the level of service I received. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted, smiled at and helped along the way. The hotel is lovely and I had a great visit. Don't miss the rooftop pool with beautiful views!

I looked at many hotels when I was going to LA. It is located in West Hollywood but not far from downtown LA (about 15 minutes). This hotel is safe, clean, and in great condition. Unfortunately, not all the staff were friendly. I would just avoid those that weren't nice. Also, the staff was not familiar with the surroundings. They did not know where to get good food, directions to places, or even if there was grocery store around. There are vending machines where they park the cars but no where else. There are also no ice machines, coffee pots in the room, or hair blow dryers in the room. Just to let you know, about three blocks down is where the gay community congregates. They have gay restaurants and clubs. This did not bother me but I know that it would bother some people and I just wanted to let you know. Again, the hotel is in a safe area and is clean. There were some things that I would change but we had a good stay. Have fun in West Hollywood!

The hotel was everything I expected, nice rooftop pool, nice staff, and great big room. I even left a divers watch in the safe and called days later. They had it and mailed it home to me. It doesn't get better than this especially for the price. The hotel is just a 5 minute walk up the hill to sunset, this is an excellent location if you don't want to stay amid the overly trendy hussle and bussle of Sunset.

The hotel service was excellent and we were treated like VIPS. The pool area was spectacular and the room was very comfortable. The bathroom was nice but the tub and the sink looked a little worn out. Overall, it was a great stay.

The Chamberlain Hotel in West Hollywood is an unexpected pleasure. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we were treated better than family. This superb accomodation was displayed by front desk personnel, bell boys, lounge and restaurant staff, maids, and even maintenance workers. Obviously well managed, this hotel is immaculate from the rooftop pool to the front walk. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood between Sunset Strip and Santa Monica Boulevard, it is truly a hidden hideaway that was both a pleasant retreat and a convenient embarking point to the multitude of activities in the LA area. When we return to the LA area, we won't bother looking for any other hotel. The Chamberlain met, and exceeded, our expectations.

Cool little boutique hotel. Nice rooms and the staff went above and beyond. Kind of hard to find, but once you do it's worth it.
