| For the price we paid we were not impressed. The keys we were given didn't work for our room twice. It looked older then the pictures of it showed.

| My wife and I have stayed at a lot of very nice hotels and this one does not compare to them. It is older and the rooms are not very private. We could hear most of the conversation by the person in the adjoining room while he was talking on the phone.

| My last night there they were painting the floor I was on and I was the only guest on that floor. I was not notified of the repair and I felt I should have been given the option to move to another room.

| Located on the edge of downtown, the hotel is centrally located to anywhere in Amarillo. The Friday's on the hotel property gives you an option to general hotel restaurants without leaving the grounds. A good choice if you are looking for an alternative to the truckstop or motel atmosphere. The rooms are clean and adequate. The desk staff was friendly and attentive.

| The stay at the Ambassador Hotel in Amarillo was, over all a very pleasant experience. The people there from the front desk to maid service were all very friendly and never too busy to stop what they were doing & answer a question or give specific directions to a woman that gets lost going around the block. Inside, little pools of water give off a relaxing atmospher and in some ways can make you think you've wandered into a secluded glen where faeries and little folk of your childhood hide. "I shall return" there someday and finish a book being written for my grandchildren, that is based on what my minds eye saw by the cool, relaxing waters of the Ambassador Hotel. A most pleasent experience.
