This hotel was terrific. It was an affordable way to take your family to the Caymans and really enjoy all that the island has to offer. The location was perfect, and the view was wonderful at sunset.

We were pleasantly suprised with the hotel - very spacious room and very clean. The hotel is on seven mile beach which has white powdery sand and clear blue water - just perfect. It is nice to walk up the beach to the other hotels for lunch/dinner or to the to use the Red Sail Sports diving. Exceptional for the money.

I thought the Comfort Suites was an excellent hotel. Very friendly staff, clean, nice restaurant and pool. Right in the heart of Seven Mile Beach. Perfect for me!

This was a nice, no frills hotel, but it lacked the relaxing "resort" type feel of other (nicer) places we have stayed on the island. We needed a 2BR suite this time, and for that reason alone stayed here. Be aware that there are A LOT of kids staying here, and not all of them are well behaved. Free breakfast is nice, but it is the exact same thing every day (almost all cold food) and gets old after a few days. Also, the eating area has only a few tables, so if you are here during a busy week, there is no place to sit. We wound up going to the restaurant across the street twice just to get something to eat. I agree with the comment about Stingers -- mediocre food and high prices. Also, pool is very small and also inadequate seating for weeks when the hotel is even a little bit busy (much less full). Lack of balconies, especially for the higher priced ocean view rooms, was a negative. If you only need a 1BR suite, you can stay in a much nicer, more inclusive place with more features for little or no extra money. I would recommend this place if you are looking for no extras, but if you want to be more pampered, don't stay here. Concierge service was all but non-existent and the hotel was clean, but minimal.

This was our third time staying here. Overall, we could not find a better value on Seven Mile Beach. If you are looking for a clean, no frills, non-smoking, shower, sleep and your off hotel, this is your place. Cont. Breakfast with fresh waffles! Save your money and eat like a king/queen all week. If you want super lux stay at the RC. Only complaint was the matress...my back hurt every morning. Even with this I would still go back. Enjoy.

For the price the Comfort Suites was a good choice. While it is set back from the beach 100 yards or so the walk is not difficult. The hotel on the left side told us we were trespassing once while we were at the beach so you do have to stay in the correct area. The old hotel between the Comfort Suites and the beach was destroyed by hurricane Ivan in 2004 and is an eyesore. Our 2 bedroom suite was comfortable and we could see the ocean. Be warned that the air-conditioning units are rather loud and turn on and off quite a bit. If you can ignore the air-conditioners the room was fine.

Comfort Suites is a terrific value on Seven Mile Beach. The hotel is crisp and new, the staff is responsive and friendly, the complimentary continental breakfast is a wonderful value. The pool area and Stingers Bar and Restaurant provide a pretty oasis of refreshment, tasty, fresh food and relaxation. The hotel is a 2 minute stroll to the gorgeous beach (which is public and could be kept cleaner by our fellow vacationers if they thought about it) and clear blue waters.

This hotel is perfect for those who want to save money on a lodging, while blowing the rest on fine dining and outdoor activities. Here's the rundown: + Location - Sits right in between 7-mile beach and downtown Georgetown. Across the street is a reputable rental car agency. + Price - best deal in town. Keep in mind that it includes free breakfast (fresh waffles, fruit, cereal, bagels, juice, etc...) + Kitchen suite - all rooms come with a mini kitchen, so you can eat food in your hotel room. - Not as huge as the big chains, so the beachfront real estate isn't as wide, but the other resorts weren't strict with others using their chairs (visited mid-May 06) - Not for romantic honeymooners, but more for the budget minded.

We just returned from Grand Cayman and stayed in the Comfort Suites. I must say that this hotel was tops. The staff were pleasant and the surroundings well kept. Our room was spacious and cleaned to perfection daily. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and cozy relaxing area. It was a treat for us to stay in such a fine hotel. Continental breakfast was great and we plan to return next year.
