| The front desk staff at the Hilltop House was among the friendliest and most welcoming of any place I've stayed in recent memory. After 2 days' travelling, this made a heap of difference. The hotel itself is nothing special - the room I stayed in (3rd floor, N/S, King bed) was certainly comfortable and big emough. What sets it apart are little things: front desk staff, beautiful view from the breakfast buffet room, the fact that the TV in the room turned back on at the same volume as when it was turned off, a free drink token when I checked in. Next time I'm in Los Alamos I'll stay there again.
