| After reading some overly critical mediocre reviews I had seriously lowered my expectations. However, this was NOT necessary as the Glidden House is absolutely fantastic. Great privacy for couples. Great breakfast service, one of the best I've experienced. There's wireless internet access and it's only a 5 to 10 minute's cab ride to downtown. Also lots of immediate attractions such as art gallery and botanical gardens. Beautifully, colourfully and tactfully decorated rooms. Clean new bathrooms. Quiet and serene location. Friendly and accomodating staff. Over-night staff went out of their way to fetch me soda at 2 a.m. Highly recommend.

| Beautiful hotel rooms decorated in Federal style with modern amenities i.e. flat sceen plasma TV. However, when the garbage truck woke me up at 6AM with its beeping and trash bins being emptied, I was surprised and unable to go back to sleep. That experience alone has made me hesitant to return or recommend the hotel to others.

| We had a lovely stay at this Bed and Breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very attentive without being obtrusive. The continental breakfast was very nice with a selection of cheese and fresh fruit along with the usual items.

| Enjoyed my stay ... the only problem was the air conditioning...too hot or too cold. For a premium hotel like this one, I was surprised to see a cheap air handling units like the ones they use in highway motels. But would recomemnd the place!

| My husband and I spent a night at Glidden House in mid-April 2006. It's a lovely old house, located in the heart of University Circle. Can walk next door to Sergio's, one of Cleveland's best restaurants. We ate in Little Italy, but ordered room service. It came promptly, and the Cheesecake Mousse is delicious! The complimentary breakfast buffet was very crowded the next morning, but once we found a table, we enjoyed eating on the patio. We plan to return!
