From late December through April, whale-watching excursions leave from the city’s harbor, where boat and kayak rentals are also available. Several golf courses are in the vicinity. | I had not been to the Ventura/Oxnard area to stay in about 15 years and wasn't sure where to stay. I read the reviews for this motel on Expedia and decided to take a chance. I was very pleased with my stay. The room was comfortable and the amenities are nice for it's price range. I would stay here again!

| We found this motel quite satisfactory and would likely stay there again should we be in the area. The personnel at the check-in desk were very nice and helpful with directions and answering our questions. She made extra effort to give us adjoinning rooms with the rest of our party and to have our rooms ready as soon as possible.

| I was amazed about the cleanliness and interior of the hotel. The bath room countertop is made of granite....The drapes remind of our stay at a hotel in Italy..basically the motel was renovated I guess, because it looks new inside. Lots of parking too, and quiet surroundings. I would go back to this hotel...

| For the price I paid, we were really expecting the worst, but when we got into the room, the carpet, the bed, the bathroom was really clean. Overall, I was worried the place would be old and dingy but it was really a great steal! The staff was nice too.
