| I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was a 10 minute walk along the water to the Parliament Bldg and other sites, but it was perfect. Ask for a room on a floor high up, harbor side. You can see all the way around the harbor. Seaplanes leave starting at 7am, and they are loud; beware. It wouldn't deter me from returning here.

| Mix up with reservations thru Expedia. Hotel upgraded us to executive floor. Lovely room, large balcony looking onto the harbor. Nice indoor/outdoor pool. Shade in afternoon, however. Restaurant a bit pricey for nicely prepared food.

| Very nice hotel. Good location. Great view of harbor. Room was excellent. Most of the staff were very friendly, helpful, and were a good source of information about the area and surrounds. We had a problem half-way through our stay with our room key and parking security code being deactivated and not being able to get into our room or the parking garage, but that was relatively minor. On our last night we tried to get a table in the restaurant, but were told there weren't any tables available, and that we should have made reservations. This seemed odd at the time because there were only about 6 people seated in the restaurant, and no one else waiting. We went to eat elsewhere, and when we came back an hour later-time enough to have been seated, served, and to have eaten-there were still only about 10-15 people seated. When I complained, nothing much was said or done other than being told to write a complaint to the hotel Vice-President. It's mainly this later, rather unexplainable incident, that makes it difficult to recommend this hotel to others, even though, on the whole its a nice place.
