| This is a decnt hotel and except that I was given a handicapped room and was not inform me during registration. I was a little uncomfortable because the toilet is higher than normal and there are a lot of safety bars around the bathtub. Otherwise this hotel should have been received a higher marks from me. THe complimentary breakfast is ok if you are not demanding too much from it.

| This hotel is attractive and quite new lodge style hotel. it is located outskirts of Banff towncenter, which we did not realize, when we booked the hotel. We ended up driving to the restaurants and shopping areas.Otherwise great place to stay, clean rooms, new hotel and nice ameneties.

| This hotel suited our needs completely. The location was great, right on the main road but far enough from the town to be away from traffic noise etc. The shuttle service offered is great tho it could run its return a bit later than 10:15 for us late diners! The rooms are very comfortable, and the feather beds are wonderfully cosy.The underground parking is very convenient.

| I don't have any specific complaints about this hotel, but you need to have realistic expectations about it. I read many favorable reviews and expected to be impressed. However, the hotel was very standard and generic, similar to a discount chain. I can state that the beds were very comfortable, but other than that there was nothing that impressed me about the hotel.

| The Banff Caribou Lodge is conveniently located near downtown Banff. It has all the amenities of much higher-priced hotels--comforters and great beds, etc. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The dining room has excellence ambience as well as service and food. We would certainly go there again as well as recommend it to our friends.

| Banff Caribou Lodge is an affordable, very clean and charming place to stay. If I visit Banff again (hopefully very soon!) I will definitely stay here again!

| We stayed at the Banff Caribou Lodge for the week leading up to New Years. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and assisting. The rooms were clean, had a down mattress cover (a luxury item) that allowed us to sleep as if we were on a cloud. Rooms had a coffee pot, and electric tea kettle, coffee/tea, table and chairs, and lots of room to hang shirts, coats, and ski gear. They provide a free ski locker, and all one has to do is ask for a lock at the front desk- also free to use for the duration. The restaurant was cozy, and the food was very good. The lobby area always had a fire going to warm up travelers. There is also a free shuttle to take one downtown. It is also about a 10 minute walk to downtown. We would stay there again.

| I stayed at the Banff Caribou Lodge January 2-6 and I was more than impressed by the staff and the comfort of the hotel. It is in a great location - about a 10 minute walk from the town centre - but there is a free shuttle provided by the hotel as well. The hotel smells like cinnamon and there is always a fire burning in the fireplace when you walk in. The staff went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed, and the beds are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! I definitely recommend this hotel.
