The hotel has 23 meeting rooms and 41,000 square feet of event space, including the Centennial Ballroom, which seats up to 1,540. Recreation
The 24-hour, fifth-floor fitness room is equipped with high-end treadmills, stairsteppers, stationary bikes, multi-station weight machines, exercise balls, resistance bands, and balance boards. Flat-screen TVs hang over mirrored walls, and DMX digital music is piped in; use is complimentary, guests use their own headphones. A small rooftop lap pool and spa tub are just outside. There are separate men’s and women’s saunas, and amenity-stocked showers. For recommended full-body exercise routines, guests may request a complimentary Reebok workout guide. Guests may purchase day passes to either Gold’s Gym or 24-Hour Fitness, both within three blocks of the hotel. Several golf courses are within the four- to six-mile vicinity. Marine Stadium, about four miles to the east, is a public park offering a sand beach, picnic areas, waterskiing, rowing, and Jet skiing. There is live horse racing at the Los Alamitos track, 13.5 miles northeast, and there are two gambling casinos within 13 miles. From Queen Mary Harbor, frequent ferries shuttle visitors to and from Catalina Island. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Features
What to expect: The loft-ceilinged lobby has glass walls showcasing the hotel’s landscape of palm trees, plants, and flowers. The garden ambience continues through a lounge and dining area, decorated with light colors and well-maintained but casual furniture. Bell staff in black-and-white checkered vests wheel luggage carts toward the elevators, closely followed by young conventioneers, cruise-ship passengers awaiting boarding calls, and international businesspeople.
Amenity highlights: Complimentary national and local newspapers are available throughout the lobby. Children are provided with complimentary sports bottles, stories, coloring books, bath toys, and safety kits. A 24-hour fitness room rivals many health clubs with its sparkling equipment, DMX digital radio, semi-private saunas, and specially designed Reebok work-out guides.
Insider tip: Long Beach Transit offers free downtown bus service between area attractions; buses are scheduled every 10 minutes. AquaBus and AquaLink water shuttles (surcharge, less than $3) provide ferry access between Queen Mary Harbor, Shoreline Village, and the Aquarium of the Pacific. Prices subject to change.
Lobby Bar at the Grill - A few steps up from the lobby, this casual indoor-outdoor lounge has two flat-screen TVs and weekday happy hour discounts. Specialty drinks include coffee creations, margaritas, and tropical cocktails. At least 15 wines are available by the glass. Tables are intimate, and an attached second bar area is opened when guests begin to overflow. The Grill - This bright lobby-side restaurant serves three meals each day, including an innovative a la carte breakfast and Continental-style buffet, chef’s daily specials, sandwiches, calorie-conscious selections, gourmet pizzas, pastas, and fixed-price dinners. Martinis are prepared tableside; patio and in-room dining is available.

| this is one of long beach's best hotels if not the best. they have great service and the rooms are very comfortable. i also want to mention that they have a parking structure that is attached to the building, which was very convenient.
