Features
What to expect: A fanciful castle topped by spires of many colors and featuring a moat, suits of armor everywhere, and costumed street performers creates a Disney-esque ambience. The male strip show is an adults-only exception, but that's after dark. Amenity highlights: Acres of sundeck surrounding two huge pools and a 15-person spa provide tanning opportunities from early spring through autumn. One pool resembles a thick arrowhead; the other is free-form, heated, and remains open year-round. Between the pools, a massive rock garden includes waterfalls and two water slides. The 13,000-square-foot Royal Treatment Spa and Fitness Center offers Aveda treatments, facials, spa tub, sauna, and fitness center. Insider tip: From 5 PM to 7 PM every day except Saturdays and holidays, Regale Italian Eatery offers one free meal to children 10 and younger for every adult meal ordered.
The Steakhouse at Camelot - Widely cited as one of Las Vegas's best, this contemporary steakhouse features prime-grade beef, plush brocade seating, subdued lighting, a dramatic glassed-in show kitchen, and a piano lounge. Opens for dinner at 5 PM. Sir Galahad's Pub and Prime Rib House - Prime rib is carved to order at the table in this restaurant which features Tudor-style decor. Opens for dinner at 5 PM. Regale Italian Eatery - This restaurant features Italian regional fare and string music. Open for dinner at 5 PM. RoundTable Buffet - This large restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, and a champagne buffet-brunch on Sundays. Open from 6:30 AM.
Sherwood Forest Café - Open 24 hours, this restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner; features Chinese fare; and offers a children's menu. Food Court - Features Pizza Hut Express, McDonald's, Quizno's, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Manchu Wok, Café Espresso, and Cold Stone Creamery. Room service is available 24 hours a day.
Uproarious fun for all ages, the Tournament of Kings jousting dinner show (two seatings nightly) features feats of daring, tests of skill on horseback, hand-to-hand combat, beasts, fire, and medieval pageantry, as diners dig into a feast without using utensils. Every night except Thursday, Australia's all-male revue present a strip show called Thunder from Down Under in Merlin's Theater. Guests must be 18 to attend; those 18–20 must be accompanied by an adult. Fantasy Faire Midway is an arcade of video and carnival games and includes two motion-simulator rides. Strolling Entertainers perform every 10 minutes on the Court Jester's Stage and Front Entrance Stage beginning in the late morning.
Comprising 100,000 square feet, the casino supplies slots, video poker, backjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, pai gow, keno, a poker room, and a 150-seat sports book with a television at each seat. The One Club offers membership cards that consolidate in single accounts slot and gaming-table play at six Las Vegas casinos and two in Laughlin, Nevada. | Check-in time is awful. Room is clean but not impressive. This hotel is older than any others in Las Vegas. The only thing that I satisfy is the price... Money tells everything in Las Vegas. If you want better services, find any other expensive hotel.

| Just returned from 4 nights at the Excalibur. If you want a reasonable hotel with a clean room to shower and sleep a few hours a night, then this is your place. Hotel needs upgrading. Rugs in the casino need to be changed. Buffett pretty good and very reasonable. Location is not bad.

| I will never stay at Excalibur again. It was a CHEAP hotel. The service for everything is awful. Phones ring 50 times before anyone answers, room service, front desk, housekeeping anyone. Long lines at every food venue, and the employees move like snails. The Casino is really beat up by late afternoon, there is no maintenance. There are way too many other places in Vegas to stay, don't waste your money on the Excalibur

| The express check-in machines do not save you any time, they actually ended up making more work for us. After express check-in we went upstairs and neither one of our keys even registered in the door. We had to flag someone down to help us and after about 5-10 minutes security opened our door. Then, later that same night, neither key would work again and this time we had to go to the front desk and get treated very poorly. This time we waited 30 minutes to get the problem solved. So, pretty much our first day was ruined because of poor management. Also, the buffet had awful food, it was not fresh and very costly. I will not stay here again. Unfortunate, because we go to Vegas quite often.

| This hotel was very clean, and everyone was very friendly. the buffets were wonderful, and the waitstaff could not have been better. The only complaint I have is that there are no kids channels on the tv, so when my husband took the kids back to the room to watch some tv before bed, there was nothing for them to watch. I would stay here again in the future though!

| A three night stay was unfortunately blemished by bad service all around. There was the room service cart that would not go away. It remained in front of my room door for the better part of a day. This depite the fact that I called the front desk. Why did I call the front desk and not room service? Because room service did not answer the phone despite the phone ringing for at least five minutes. A show ticket I purchased was charged twice for the same purchase. The beds did have any comforters because as bad luck would have it, the hotel was in the midst of changing decor. The drapes were cut too short so that when the AC was turned on, the drapes would flap in the breeze creating a flashing light effect in the room. Ever try to sleep with a strobe light in your face? The iron did not work, nor did the volume control on the T.V. set. Luckily the rest of Vegas was in order!!!

| While the Excalibur isn't the most luxurious hotel on the strip, it is certianly the most affordable. I have stayed there several times, and expect to do so in the future. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Very good location. This is what I want in a Vegas casino. If you're like me, you don't spend a lot of time in your room, or even a particular casino while in Vegas, so why spend the extra money on the room? If you want romance, and money's no problem, one of the hotel up the strip might be better. Otherwise save your hotel money to spend in the casino's. You'll have a better chance of striking it rich (yeah, right)! At least you'll have a better time dropping your money in a casino, rather than dropping it up front for the room. I suppose it comes down to what you are looking for in a trip to Vegas, but for me, the Excalibur is the best bet.
