| The Embassy Suites Hotel Mandalay Beach Resort is located 60 minutes NW of Los Angeles. Situated on 8 acres of ocean front property, the resort resembles the tropics, with its lush gardens, waterfalls, and lagoons. The resort is within walking distance of the Channel Islands Harbor, where shops, restaurants, water sports and other entertainment activities are available. Fine golf courses, boat excursions to the Channel Islands National Park, sports fishing, kayak rentals, factory outlet shopping, museums, waterside dining and other great diversions are nearby. Every suite is comprised of a bedroom including a king-size bed or two queen-size beds and living-room area that contains a queen-size sleeper sofa, totaling approximately 800 square feet. Many suites offer ocean views and partial ocean views to further enjoy our beachfront location. In-room amenities include two luxurious marble bathrooms, wet bar, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Additional amenities include two telephones, two televisions, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The Presidential suites configuration is approximately 1700 square feet, including two bedrooms and an oversized tub with whirlpool jets. Complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast is offered in the morning and manager's reception in the evening. Complimentary newspapers are offered daily. On-site activities feature a large outdoor heated pool, two whirlpool spas, two night-lighted tennis courts and bike rentals. Additionally, 16,000 square feet of flexible meeting space is also available.

| The hotel was nice. Breakfast and afternoon snacks were provided. The kids loved the pool and the beach and the fact that they had their own bed/TV.

| In August the area where free breakfast is served is mobbed. Plenty of food , but nowhere to sit down. Better to either get there very early, or just plan on taking it back to your room. Also we had problems with the room card key not opening the door. Others said they had the same problem. They say our cell phones or other cards are demagnetizing them. I say this is a major inconvenience--finally arriving with all your luggage and beach equipment at your room, and then having to go all the way back to the lobby to figure out the key problem. If the technology is bad, they should find a solution. Otherwise everything was quite nice.

| Good price for the location and amenities. Bottom floor room had no view and hallway was darker, but proximity to beach and pool was great. Not ideal for business - poor cell reception, no wireless internet or desk.

| This is a great hotel even when the beach is too cold. Rooms are large, clean and in good condition. Manager's reception and excellent breakfast are bonuses. The lobby is very southwestern. The only negative surprise is the $10 parking fee and is not included with the Expedia rate.

| Great place nice rooms would recommend for the family as well as a romantic get away. Nice property setup like a beach resort with heated pool and spas. Restaurant has great food and good drinks live band on the weekends in the bar. We had a great time.
