| bathroom exhaust fan didn't work,toilet handle seemed like it was gonna come out,sink leaked,no ironing board,room keys are metal keys that are turned in when one leaves room,no remote for TV, one time they forgot to leave the second pair of towels and was told "we don't have any extras on hand," The location is Great only a small walk(2 blocks) straight out of the train station.

| Thought the hotel might be charming and a nice bargain but it was simply a little dowdy and beat up. The room was small and mostly dreary and the service was Ok, though not very friendly.

| Outside looks cheap but interior is nice. This place is right in the middle of the city and main shopping district, but still quiet inside. Walking distance to everything: 5 mins to Picadilly station, 1 min to the trams and free busses, 15 mins very healthy walk to Gmex conference center. Great Weatherspoons pub right next door. Inside the hotel is a lovely lounge with free wireless broadband internet. The smoking in the lounge was horrible - presumably this will go away after the smoking laws are implemented. Our first room didn't have a window, only a skylight. Would have been ok for one night, but terrible for a week. We asked to be moved and the second room they gave us was simply superb - looking onto the street with fantastic big picture windows and lots of light. Very clean rooms and great daily service. Lovely teapot & tea making facilities but no coffee maker or refrigerator. A couple of lightbulbs were missing when we first arrived, but they were replaced immediately upon request. Note for the hotel management: free internet access in the rooms (not just the lounge) would be an awesome addition to your already good services.

| This is a nice hotel in a central location in the city. My room was quite comfortable and quiet. There were some minor maintenance problems which they fixed promptly. It is a short 5 minute walk to the train station that goes to the airport. I would definitely stay there again.
