| The room was lovely and so is the setting. The bed was very comfortable, which was a huge plus after a long work day. The only thing I'd change was the continental breakfast the next day -- it was the kind of fare you expect at a generic Airport motel. This is the kind of place where you'd like to linger over a hot breakfast, which wasn't an option.

| This was my second stay at the 1820 House. Both times were very relaxing getaways. The atmosphere is great. The rooms were very nice. The hotel has a lot of charm.

| The Simsbury 1820 House lives up to it's name. We booked this for family visiting from out of state. From the moment we stepped onto the beautiful hardwood porch to check-in we were wrapped in 19th Century Luxury and Charm. The main house is as well kept as a museum and even the carraige house rooms maintain an Old New England aristcratic elegance. This is a great Inn at a value price!

| This, restored and wonderfuly comfortable, hotel with some of the most outstanding water color paintings is highly recommended. The on - site restaurant cuisine was equal to the amenities provided. However, the room heat / air unit is a bit noisy. The staff was very helpful, and friendly.
