In a great location of Vncouver, within walking distance to popular sites. Had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, dinner was fantastic, while breakfast was slow to arrive and average. Rooms were a little small, had just about enough room to walk around the bed and that is about it. Otherwise a nice hotel, I would stay at it again.

Spent four nights there in August 2006. Very friendly and supportive staff. Offered a free fridge to store items for our small child. Location is great for access to most attractions including Stanley park, Robson street and Gastown. Only minus for the hotel is the pool which looked like the water had not been cleaned for months. Would stay there again for sure.

Central location made it easy to explore Vancouver on foot...Robson Street and Stanley Park in walking distance. The price was higher than I would have liked, but for last minute availability, I was glad to get a reservation. If you go to Victoria, consider taking a seaplane. They are right near the hotel and get you from downtown Vancouver to downtown Victoria in 35 minutes.

If you are looking for lovely, inviting accommodations, skip over this hotel. The room decoration was of the style and quality one might expect to find in much lower cost accommodations -- unimaginative, uninspired, unmemorable, and pure utilitarian. It was neither attractive nor unattractive, neither inviting nor uninviting. It was dull and uninteresting. The bathroom was also what one would expect in lower cost accommodations. The wall covering, fixtures, and appointments were motel quality. The tub was shallow and small. The shower was small; the water pressure "soft." The towels were just average, the bath towels rather skimpy, in fact, and there were too few of them. Although the toiletries were generally average, the soaps were unacceptable, being of the variety that leaves a rather distinct and unpleasant lingering odor after one has been long absent from the shower. Not even the packaged coffee in the room was acceptable. It was weak and tasteless. The hotel breakfasts were inedible. The only thing exceptional about this hotel was the service that the all of the staff so willingly and graciously provided.
