10minutes drive to Grand Canyon village. You don't have to stay inside of Grand Canyon.

The hotel represented a reasonable value. It was not terribly fancy, but it was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. There is a small but attractive pool and the service personal were cheerful and helpful. The free continental breakfast is extremely basic - packaged donuts, danish and instant oatmeal. There is hot coffee, hot water for tea (and oatmeal), milk and fruit juice. I would recommend it for those taking a trip to the Grand Canyon.

Only 10mins from canyon entrance. Gift shop and restaurants reasonably priced (we are from england though!). Pastries and coffee etc to get you on your way in the morning. Most people will only be staying 1-2 nights and this is an ideal base

The location is great (2 minutes from the south rim entrance), the staff is helpful and friendly, the rooms are nice (we were in the hotel rooms, not motel). But the breakfast is a shame. It is so bad that the room - which is far too small - is never crowded. People will just go in and leave the next minute to find an actual breakfast outside.

Living in Florida and never in Arizona before, relying on the internet was my only choice. This was our annual family vacation and we chose the "Grand Canyon". The Red Feather Lodge was a perfect location - minutes from the canyon. The only downfall - if you have children - small pool
