Features
What to expect: The hotel's contemporary lobby welcomes guests with marble floors, wood pillars, and comfortable furniture. It is filled with the steady traffic of business and leisure travelers on their way to Old Town Alexandria's numerous shops, restaurants, and pubs. Amenity highlights: Besides weights and exercise machines, the hotel's fitness center has an indoor pool, sauna, and locker room. The garden patio is a great place to take in some sun. The hotel offers a full range of services, including a 24-hour business center with high-speed Internet access (fee), a multilingual staff, concierge services, audio-visual rental, and in-house limousine service. Insider tip: One of Old Town Alexandria's more unusual sights is the George Washington Masonic National Memorial, just four blocks from the hotel. Perched on Shooter's Hill, the previous site of a Civil War-era fort, the neoclassical building houses a number of artifacts relating to Washington and Freemasonry. Free tours are conducted throughout the day, and the view from the enormous stone tower is worth the walk up the hill.
Seagar's Restaurant and Piano Bar: This upscale but casual restaurant and lounge is full of luxurious little extras: a glass-enclosed humidor room houses fine cigars, and a glassed-in wine room includes seating for a party of two. The bar's selection of 200 martinis complements the swank weekend piano music, and seasonal outdoor seating is available. The menu specializes in fine steak and Maine lobster. Open for lunch and dinner.

| Very convenient location to Metro system - just across the street! Within walking distance to Old Town Alexandria shops. Many good places to eat very close by. Would definitely stay at this Hilton again next trip.

| $20 daily parking charge was outrageous. $10 daily wifi charge was much to high. Lack of shower caps. A free bottle of water and coffee was a good touch. The location to the metro was excellent and only a short walk to the historic district was nice. The restaurant was over priced, but many alternates close by.

| This is the second time I stayed here with my family. We like the convenience to Washington for sightseeing. When you are done for the day it is nice to take the quick Metro ride to Alexandria for a quiet evening.

| Great hotel. Ordering food at the bar was a one hour ordeal. Otherwise, the hotel and location next to the Metro and King street were perfect.

| I was with a large group of teenage girls, and the staff was very helpful in setting up a private breakfast for the three days that we were there. The rooms were very clean and the area was great to take in a morning run. I do not like hotels that charge for internet access in this day and age. If most every other hotel can do it, so can Hilton.

| Stayed here for two nights for quick trip to DC. Room was very comfortable, friendly and efficient service, handy Starbucks in lobby, easy access to Metro, Old Town, and Mt. Vernon. Convenient partking, and very reasonable for DC. Would definitely go back to this hotel.
