| this hotel was fine. no major problems. contnental breakfast was adequate. common areas were clean and up to date. there is a nice patio/garden area just outside of the lobby.

| Overall the hotel was OK due to the fact that I was there for business and did not use the hotel facilities except to sleep and shower. At time of checkin the 1st room I had there was a problem with the internet and had to move to another room. Noticed that when in 2nd room there was a problem with the room door, it was not square and light would come into the room at night. Had problem with getting into building by side door with pass key. Had to exchange the key.

| I found the rooms to be nice and clean and the bathroom spacious enough for two to be at the vanity at the same time. It's in a convenient location to I-20, just two exits from the airport and not too far from the Independence Bowl, casinos, downtown, and I-49. The morning service left a little to be desired and they forgot my wake-up call, but the backup alarm worked great!

| overall I would rate it a 6 on a scale of 1-10 better than most I have stayed at in Shereveport this is not the cleanest city to begin with! the maids were rude and loud in the morning!

| This was a nice hotel for the money. It was not impressive, but it was clean. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. They gave my party a smoking roon, when we specifically requested non-smoking. The ladies at the desk acted like it was a big deal to change the rooms to the correct ones. So, I really would rate this as 3 1/2.

| I stay at this hotel routinely while in Shreveport visiting a family member. It's nothing fancy, but a clean, convenient place to stay. I wasn't big on La Quinta as a chain, but this hotel is very satisfactory. There's a nice little gazebo sitting area outside in a courtyard by a small pool. It's very pleasant to sit out there and have a cool drink. They serve a nice continental b'fast including waffles, as do most chains like them. The hotel is located about 5 minutes from the airport, and there is no airport noise. They are also located close to a Walmart and a Cracker Barrel, both are convenient to me because that nature of my visit is always to do some major foundation shopping for my family member, and we like to eat out as a fun thing to do. The rooms are reasonably spacious and clean. The beds are ok, not rocks but not mush either. The staff are always friendly and warm. In summary, it's a fine hotel for the budget conscious. Don't let the airport label scare you off.
