| The hotel is in an absolutely fanatastic location, with a very clean public beach right across the street. The hotel is under construction, and it seems like they are trying to do it right. However, a lot of the construction appears to be delayed or has been torn up for a long time...perhaps they are short on money? The rooms are not very clean, but the staff was friendly and the parts of the hotel that are renovated are nice. Since the price was considerably less expensive than other name brand hotels, I would recommend it if you prefer value over luxury.

| My husband, one year old daughter and I stayed here for Labor Day Week 2005. The carpets in the room were filthy, and slimy. My daughter is one and her feet were black. This hotel needs serious work. The high speed internet is a joke, it rarely worked. We used dial-up from the phone instead. I would recommend going some place else like in St. Pete Beach area or Maderia or Redington. Not a great place. No cont. breakfast, only a smal Waffle House next door.

| This Inn is not bad. Free parking and clean room Additional free wireless internet, but the signal is very weak, so you have to work in the lobby or move the desk very close to the door. When I stayed, the inn was in construction, and the first appearance was very ugly. But, I didn't care because I stayed inside the room.

| I booked this hotel for two main reasons: 1) the highspeed internet access in all rooms and 2) location with respect to restaurants. The highspeed internet was a joke. I had to move rooms to one over the lobby without a view in order to get any connectivity and that was still so intermittent that I could not use it successfully for business. The nearest restaurant was closed and the only alternatives were 24/7 waffle/pancake places. To cap it all, I was woken every morning at 7am by a construction crew building condos opposite the hotel.
