| Only had a minor problem with the in-room coffee - was all decaf, but there is a Tully's coffee bar in the lobby (even better). With just a 2 block walk, you are in the middle of Chinatown. Not a far walk from the shops of the Financial District. I highly recommend getting the transit map from the front desk, the cable cars are a great way to go! If it's too cold to stroll the streets, the room service is fabulous!

| Great location walking distance to North Beach, Union Square, China Town 2 blocks away. $7 cab ($1.50 bus ride) to Wharf - 2 miles approx. Hotel staff was the best. Great recommendations for "local" restaurants, sights, directions. Muni transportation system excellent, EASY, SAFE. One of the best experiences traveling!!!! Room is a little small (not too small), great view, large work center (desk) overlooking city, extemely comfortable.

| Overall I was very satisfied with my stay at the Hilton in Chinatown. It is walking distance to most placed in San Francisco. It has a great veiw of the Bay from both sides. However the odd numbered rooms have a better view of the bay. Every time I go to San Francisco I book my stay at the Hilton because of the comfort and feel of home.

| I traveled to SF for many years and this was by far the best accomodations value yet. It was my wife's first time in SF so I upgraded to the Bayside View and it was worth every penny! The Bed was delightful with full comfort down pillows.Rooms newly remodeled Jan 2005 very elegant. Hotel resturaunt was exceptional in service & food offering but it's SF & pricey. Great Location to China Town, North Beach & the Wharf (brief walk or Muni Transport).

| Very convenient to the sights of San Francisco. Very quiet, except for sirens, but hey, we were in the city. No coffee maker in room, but coffee shop in lobby had excellent coffee.

| General manager and others took real good care of me. Their restaurant is great; food is good and the modern ambience made my first day there a pleasure. There is a great steak place just next door in the alley. Alberts has been there since 1928. Big Steaks and the "Colonel" is the best bar tender I have found in a long while.
