Clarion Hotel Maingate Amenities
The 198-room, five-story Clarion offers free, scheduled transportation to Sea World and Universal Studios, and a free shuttle that runs between all the Disney World theme parks. Amenities include a large swimming pool and spa, and a well-equipped fitness center. A small business center and meeting rooms for small- to mid-sized functions are available for business travelers as well.

Features
What to expect: Close to all the theme parks, the 198-room Clarion maintains a quiet, family-friendly ambience. The pond, which can be seen from most of the rooms, contains a high-spouting fountain. Amenity highlights: This hotel offers a large swimming pool, and an exercise room equipped with stationary bicycles, treadmills, and more. For children, a wading pool is available outside; inside, they can use the game room. For everyone, free scheduled transportation is available to Sea World and Universal Studios, as is a free shuttle that runs between all the Disney World theme parks.
Flagler’s - This breakfast-only restaurant features a buffet with everything from biscuits and gravy to fresh fruit. Guests can eat indoors or on the lanai overlooking the lake. Rum Runners - Tropical drinks are the specialty in this lounge that also serves burgers, fries, and other light fare. Open evenings only.

| rude and unfriendly staff they are not willing to give information and when they do, they omit important details such as free shuttle services to a nearby outlet and price for a longer stay. It seems there is a connection between them a cab company which they will promptly call for you.

| Checked in around 8:30pm on a Friday, had to wait in line for 15 minutes, the two people at the front desk were helping someone with directions, couldn't quite understand why it took two people to give directions......a/c didn't work in room, had to call the front desk 5 times and wait 45 minutes to move into a new room, asked for a none smoking room and the room we were moved to smelled terribly of smoke, but were told the room was a none smoking room.

| As a traveler who likes to stay at 4* hotels. We decided to try to save some money and stay off the Disney property. This hotel was very clean, it had nice annemities, location was perfect to all parks, the area was full of dining choices, the staff was friendly. I'm confident we made a good choice and saved a ton of money.

| Spent 10 days at the hotel in early November of 2005. The hotel is very close to Disney. The room was basic and clean. For the price, it is a very good value. The wireless internet service worked very well.

| Its a good hotel for both the parents as well as the kids cannot go wrong here also very conveniant to everything you need.

| This hotel is not one of the best in Orlando, the service was not the best, and twice our room keys would not work, so we had to go to the lobby to make them work again, very inconvenient. The pool was not the best either.However, this hotel does have affordable rates and the free shuttle to the parks,is also a plus. So if you are looking to save money and not to concerned with service this is the hotel for you.

| The room requested was supposed to have a king bed - they had a "reservation" for 2 full beds. The hall way was dark and had a number of dirty dishes - including in our doorway. Check in and check out took longer than normal - apparently the people on desk have difficulty solving inquiries and we had to wait long times for the people in front.
