| Hotel carpet had iron burns and stains on it. Room and hotel appeared shabby and in serious need of renovation.

| This hotel is very nice and clean with good service. The beds were comfortable and the room was in a quiet location. The breakfast was good with plenty of selections such as waffles, boiled eggs, cereal, bagels and juices. I chose this hotel because they have a free shuttle from the airport and also offer a free shuttle to the Mall of America, which, unfortunately, we didn't have time to see. The shuttle driver was very accomodating and offered us cold water when we got in. A nice touch. There are two restaurants within walking distance if you don't have a car.

| This hotel seemed to be in transition from a previous owner/company: signage and directions to the hotel were incomplete; the dining facilitiy was not operational, except for the free continental breakfast, and the overall condition appeared to be worn and not quite as clean as I expected. While I wasn't particlarly disappointed, I see room for improvement in the facility itself. Our room had two double beds which seemed small to me - it seems the standard is two queens. On the plus side, the pool was open and operating, which seems the exception rather than the norm, often times. The staff especially at the front desk seemed friendly and helpful - much better than what passes for service in many parts of the hosptality and travel industry. I didn't use the free wireless internet access, but instructions were provided without request. Shuttles to the airport and the Mall of America seemed to operate on a regular schedule. I think, given a little, time this could be a better hotel at a good price.

| This is NOT the three-star hotel we expected. It is probably not even a one-star. It was recently acquired by La Quinta and has not undergone the serious renovation it needs. The rooms and bathrooms have holes in the walls; shabby bedspreads; tubs don't drain; cooling system throughout hotel functions poorly ; pool area is very run down and has areas on floor that form large puddles. This is not what I expect from past experiences at La Quinta Inns.

| The hotel was located just minutes away from Mall of America. The staff was helpful and courteous. The only drawback was, because of the extreme heat during our stay, the air conditioning ran nonstop. The hotel was an older facility and the air conditioning either could run or not - there was no temperature regulator. Hotel was also close to major highways, restaurants and other shopping facilities.
