| We had a standard room with two double beds. Neither bed was fit to sleep in. They don't use fitted sheets so we woke up to find ourselves lying directly on stained mattresses. The continental breakfast was understocked so they were always out of food and the staff was unfriendly and rude. We honestly felt like unwanted guests rather than patrons of a business who are supposed to specialize in guest servies. We will never stay at this hotel again.

| Enjoyed the siightseeing including Smith Mountain lake,just few minutes away,great restaurants and shopping mall nearby,a walking distance,but most of all when it was time to unwind, the hotel provided a very restful night.

| For the price they charge and the caliber of hotel Amerisuites should be, the room I had was far less than what it should have been. It should have been cleaner and the cheap mattresses were disappointing. Yes I could have asked for another room but I should not have been put in that position after traveling most of the day.

| They had no record of our reservation through expedia so they put us in a smoking room. The maid did not clean the room or make up the beds. The breakfast was self-serve (for example, make your own waffles); hot items were cold (like the eggs); and other items were not replenished. A very bad experience. Find somewhere else to stay.

| The hotel was extremely busy the night I stayed there. Everything seemed to go fine. The room was clean and spacious. The support staff was friendly and assisting. During the morning buffet, there was difficulty in maintaining a fresh supply of scrambled eggs, but overall everything was good.
