| I was surprised at how shabby this place was. The Hyatt chain is either going downhill, or this was just an exceptional example of mediocrity. They did not even change out soiled sheets on the beds. Jets flying overhead sound like they're in your room. Staff has no power to actually do anything, but at least they were very nice and courteous.

| I quickly booked a stay in this hotel for 1 night while in Santa Clara on business. Exterior and lobby areas are clean and inviting. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were not too bad. Rooms will need some renovating in the next few years but nothing major.

| This hotel remains quite lovely, and very convenient to trade shows at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The food is great, service is friendly. Two issues marred this visit. The connecting door to the room next door let through so much noise that I was awakened by my neighbors every day I was there. And for breakfast I splurged on the "red berries" for almost $10, and it was mostly melon. The breakfast in the the bar in the morning is good and a good deal as hotel food goes. The salad in the resturant with seared ahi was wonderful.

| The beds are extremely comfortable. Down comforters and down mattress pads - nice!
