We had a lovely time in July for 6 nights. We ate at the restaurant on night and it was very nice, although not my personal favorite. We really like the goat cheese and shrimp chile relleno at Don Emilios. We also ate at a few other places in town and we weren't disappointed anywhere. A little past Don Emilios was another Mexican restaurant, more traditional that did great pork in banana leaves. We also got massages a few times, at a small place across and to the side of the Church, set back in a little courtyard. They had a promotion going on for 1 hour massages that was too good to pass up, and was about 1/2 the price of the hotel's in-room rates. They have 2 masseuses so my husband and I could get massaged at the same time. Anyway, back to the hotel! It was lovely and the concierges were really nice and helpful. They gave good dinner recommendations and helpful directions. The only issue was that they said they'd mail a letter for me and the US-based recipient still has not received it, 3 weeks later. (I should have just waited to mail it from the US, sigh!) The drinks were nice. Someone said in another posting that they were small, but they were probably the right size, it's not margaritaville here! Very quiet and soothing environment overall. Breakfast was yummy and private.

A small boutique hotel with 16 rooms in San Jose del Cabo, with excellent service and friendly staff. There were no children running around which was great. The restaurant in the hotel was very good. Its a nice change from downtown Cabo

From the minute a staff member greeted me at the door to the time the hotel owner helped put my bag in the taxi -- an excellent experience. My room was perfect, immaculate, comfortable, and well appointed. The manicure/pedicure that I had on my private veranda was as good, if not better, than the ones I have back home. The food was excellent. Breakfast each morning was exactly as I ordered, and there is something special about starting the day on your veranda, sipping coffee, and watching a hummingbird in the flowers nearby. I dined twice in the hotel restaurant, and each meal was simply suberb. My only - minor - issue, I wish there had been more than 5 channels on my television.

This hotel is very well run with a staff that is most accommodating in every regard. The restaurant on premise is one of the better ones in area. Other great places to eat are ESPERANZA, Local Eight, El Chilar and of course The One and Only Palmillia. Be sure and do a day trip to Todas Santos and enjoy your vacation. We did not have to compete for lounges. Lush towels were always available. They gave us clean linens in our room twice a day, once when they cleaned our room and then again in the evening when they came to do the turndown for us. This hotel is one for relaxation without a lot of furvor.

A member of the Small Luxury Hotel Group, Casa Natalia excels at service and comfort. Not the most luxurious hotel in the world (think small European, not the Four Seasons) but its ambience fits perfectly in this small Mexican tourist destination. Excellent restaurant for dinner, great breakfasts served on your balcony, friendly, helpful staff. We were there during the Fiesta in March which is centered on the Plaza outside the hotel. If you go during Fiesta, be aware that the music plays until 1:00 a.m. or later, so bring earplugs or better yet, do what we did and join the locals for the party! Located in the the town, you can walk from the hotel to a different excellent restaurant each night and during the day take a free shuttle to the beach club. We highly recommend this hotel for those who want to enjoy a Baja experience away from the tourist crowds and tackiness of of Cabo San Lucas.

Small hotel perfectly placed for shopping and meals in a smaller and quieter town than Cabo San Lucas. Not easy for a beach holiday as you need a car or shuttle, but great for a couple of quiet days before or after the party chaos of Cabo.

From the moment we arrived and until we left we were treated like moviestars. The concierge made sure we had a great stay and managed to get my suit back which I had forgotten on the plane.. saved my life! Situated in what seemed to be the center of San Jose del Cabo it's an oasis with restaurants and gift shops within a couple of blocks, but don't forget the restaurant that's inside the hotel. We didn't have the pleasure of having dinner there, but their appetizers were great!
