Nestled on the banks of the Susquehanna River, this hotel is across the street from Riverfront Park and six blocks from the state capitol. At the foot of the hotel is a walking path that stretches five miles along the river with access to City Island, home of the Harrisburg Senators Baseball team and many sports bars and restaurants. The hotel has a fitness center and a seasonal outdoor pool. The hotel offers a complimentary deluxe Continental breakfast daily and free USA Today on weekdays. An on-site restaurant serves lunch and dinner.

| The Hotel was a little "shabby". Rugs/floor tile need to be replaced, doors need to be painted etc. The room itself was clean and the housekeeping services were good. Plenty of towels, etc. Location in downtown area was close to family restaurants. Riverwalk was a nice extra! The breakfast that was included was a good deal, especially if traveling with a family. One night we were there a "camp" of young boys was also there. Needless to say that made for a difficult breakfast time. The Hotel was not keeping up with either the food or the cleanup. We also asked to chnage our room, (we wanted a non-smoking and a water view room) and we were told that nothing was available. They were not particularily eager to please us even though we were staying for 4 nights. The pool was sparkling clean and a nice bonus. All in all it was an OK experience but the next time I would look for a more updated hotel.

| great location to restaurants and bars in harrisburg. great view of the river. rooms are standard, nothing to write home about, but I would stay there again.

| This hotel is right along the river. the rooms with the best view are on the second floor and face west, looking at the river and a park that goes along it. The only draw back to these rooms (river view rooms) is that they are smoking. The hotel is a nice place and breakfast is included.

| Overlooking the riverfront while eating breakfast was a beautiful way to start the day. The staff went out of their way to make my stay pleasant.

| Great location: along the river, close to downtown and major highways. Daily maintainance of the room was inconsistent and sloppy. Staff was mostly disinterested. I would not choose this hotel again.
