| We stayed at Le Meridien for 7 nights and were very impressed overall. The staff was helpful and prompt, the room was quite nice, and everyone was accomodating. The entire staff spoke English, so we never had a communication problem. The pool and spa were also very nice. The Friday night Hungarian buffet and music/dance show was quite good and a very nice value as it included some excellent Hungarian wine and more deserts than you can imagine! It represented everything you'd expect in a top European hotel and we'd stay there again!

| Great hotel. beautiful super clean rooms..helpful friendly staff..concierge beyond our expectations. Consider buying breakfast as part of package otherwise 2 adults 2 children cost over 100 dollars so we ate outside of the hotel, ... great hotel value otherwise...Taxis waiting outside of the hotel can cost double...cross the street or walk a half a block and see the difference, ask cab drivers for price first..wonderful country to visit..warm friendly people..

| The hotel was excellent, exceptionally clean and modern. The internet service was easy to use and very reliable. The only difficulty we had was with some of the concierge staff that seemed less than knowledgeable about the area. However, once we found the members of the conceirge staff that knew the area well things went much better.

| I had a wonderful stay at the hotel in early May, 2005 for 5 nights. It is a great hotel in terms of room quality, location, lobby and staff. Room decor, bed, furniture and bathroom were definitely of the highest quality. Great for entertaining a small group. I would stay there again without hesitation. The concierge was very helpful in booking good restaurants. I only include some of these additional remarks here as minor critiques. I booked over the internet and was given free high-speed internet service which was good but not perfect. It did not allow my home office VPN connection. The towel assortment did not include face towels. The shoe shine service was not up to American standards but a British friend of mine who travels internationally a great deal informs me that is the norm. The in room movies were unnecessarily expensive. Some of the hotel staff had a problem with rather straightforward English.

| The Le Meridien was in a great location for city travelers; centrally located in Pest, close to major shopping district, restaurants, other first class hotels, and some tourist attractions. The customer service was great, staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hotel restaurant featured a "Hungarian Night" on friday nights, buffet with great food and deserts, great live folk music and dance, our best night in Budapest.
