We stayed here at Sam's with my husband & my son, 2-yr old... Though we were the youngest couple that I saw there, it was a great hotel to stay, not to mention the great bargain that we got! The bowling center was cool, very cheap! The arcade is a plus! Waterfall indoor is nice! Plus they got McDonald's, Sbarro & Panda Express which would save a lot of money if you're not having a fine dining... Staff were very nice too... Don't expect too much with the swimming pool b'coz its small & very simple. I would highly recommend Sam's Hotel & Casino to a tight budget family or even individual... Don't limit your stay to strip area, there are lots of hotels out there that has a great deal, but of course, car/transportation is necessary...

The new rooms are very nicely decorated. The coffee shop is great along with the buffet and the italian restaurant. You do need a car as it is far off the strip.

This was my first stay at Sam's Town. The atmosphere was excellent and the indoor waterfall was a nice touch. The Motel room was clean and everyone on staff was friendly. My only complaint was that the slots were too "tight" but everything else was fine. The steak and crab legs at Billy Bob's were excellent. Take advantage of the shuttle.

We chose Sam's because it was off the beaten path but close enough to experience the strip. We were extremely surprised by our stay at Sams. At the end of a busy day being in the center of Vegas's action we could not wait to return to our temporary home. We were treated wonderfully by both hotel staff as well as Casino employees. Having breakfast in the gardens was an added plus. We fully recommend staying at Sams Town.

This was a very nice place to stay, even up to my wife's standards, and she's picky! We saw lots of families here. Our king bed was VERY comfortable. The room looked like it was recently refurbished with very nice furnishings. The bathroom was very large with a great shower. The breakfast buffet can't be beat-- only $5 with your players club card. We had a very nice stay here and the price on Expedia.com was the lowest we found anywhere, including the hotel's website!

Ok just got back from our Las Vegas stay.I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The price was excellent, the check in very easy, atmosphere was great for familys. My boyfriend and I are in our 20's and although we felt like the youngest people there it was a nice escape for our vacation as well as away from the strip.A couple miles from the strip but if you have a car or use the shuttle its really no problem. Ok not to be negative but the few bad things I have to mention. First bring your own pillows, it was like sleeping on rocks, Walmart saved the day. The pool is heavily over clorinated and I know this is a sanitary issue but limit your stay in the pool. We were unable to see clearly for a day and a half, painful. Ok last thing stay away from Fresh Harvest, worst meal we ever ate. Fresh is a funny word to call that place.Other than those small things it was an excellent stay. Have Fun!

This was our first time to Las Vegas. Very glad we stayed at Sam's Town. Beautiful and peaceful after enjoying the strip. Firelight buffet was great but wish other restaurants were not so expensive. Would have loved to try the Jose's & Willie's Mexican Food. Shuttle service was nice. Everyone was very friendly, even in 108 degree temperatures. Would stay there again.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, and the view into the atrium was great. Check in was easy (9pm), no hassles all around. Only drawback is that it's located on the outskirts of the strip about 2 miles from LVCC. But for the price, you cannot beat this hotel. I heard locals like this hotel, so much the better. Try it, you'll like it.
