What to expect: Guests at this gleaming, glass-sided hotel appreciate its modern look and unique location near the geographic center of Greater Vancouver. Business travelers and vacationers enjoy easy access to surrounding communities as well as hundreds of shops in the immediate Burnaby area. The service at this 18-story, office-like hotel is friendly but not familiar, and includes express check-out. Amenity highlights: High-speed Internet access, the use of computer workstations, and parking are complimentary to guests at this modern hotel. The fitness center provides a treadmill, stairclimber, exercise bike, rowing machine, and free weights, as well as a pool deck with food and beverage service, a 30-foot lap pool, a children’s wading pool, and spa. Services at the in-house day spa include facials, massage, and aromatherapy. Insider tip: The hotel is attached to the Crystal Mall, with 150 stores catering to the Asian-Chinese community. Just across the street is Metrotown Centre, home to 500 shops and restaurants, 22 theaters, and three adult/youth game centers.
Crystal Bar & Grille - Three meals daily, including a buffet breakfast, are served in this casually modern third-floor restaurant and lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows and a gas fireplace. “West Coast” menu ranges from crispy Asian chicken watercress and arugula salad to caramelized shallot risotto in Madeira sauce. The lounge provides overstuffed chairs, two TVs, and a patio for fair-weather dining.

| Quite satisfied with the overall quality except the beds are two soft and sagged. It doesn't have a in-room safe which is not too convenient. But it has a lot of eating places & shops surrounding the hotel.

| Rates only 3 stars, not 4 in my book, but a good hotel choice for business in Burnaby. Also works for Vancouver vacation as parking is free, and mass transit is very close by, convenient, and cheap ($8.00 can. for an all-day pass, much less than parking in Vancouver). The shopping malls near the hotel are very average.

| The hotel was excellent. Service, food, accommodations were great. Concierge service was very customer focused. The location is a little away from most tourist attractions but easily accessible via Sky Train.

| While checking in the front desk people proceed to insult Americans in general. Asked housekeeping for more towels and was told they didn't have anymore to give. The maids banged on the doors in the afternoon claiming they needed to do a room check. Very disappointed in a this Hilton.

| These are things that I found to be notable: 1. Staff at the desk were not very friendly. No smiles, or congeniality whatsoever. 2. No plastic liners in trash cans? 3. PLASTIC toilet seat(4 star?). 4. The parking deck was shared with the adjacent mall. Difficult to maneuver a small vehicle, & to find a space. Parking deck closes at 11:00 PM?? 5. Outdoor hot tub looked like it hadn't been sanitized since last year. The tile was quite scummy in appearance. That's all the negative stuff. Still managed to enjoy the comfortability of the room, which was tastefully decorated. Room had a beautiful view.
