The air conditioning in the room they gave me was dripping water. A good 20% of the room floor was soaked. I told the front desk, they sent a guy to stop the leak, and they was it. No new room, no discount, not even a "Sorry about that." So despite the great hotel shuttle service, I do not believe I will be staying there again.

I stayed at the Downtown Minneapolis Ramada last night expecting everything to be horribe according to these reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel must have been remodeled or I was in a remodeled wing because none of these poor reviews match up. The hotel looked newly rennovated and very clean. The rooms were quite spacious and clean. This affordable hotel was worth the money. The restaurant was a bit lacking in service, but that is all. There is absolutely nothing else wrong with this hotel!

For the price per night you pay at the Ramada, it should be a lot nicer! The pillow cases had yellow stains all over them and even had hairs on them. (which unfortunately were not mine) The room was really damp and smelly, but there was no way to keep the window open to air it out. There are 2 elevators, and 1 was broken. I would not stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Ramada Inn in Downtown Minneapolis, and the only positive thing that I can say about it is that their shuttle drivers are prompt and courteous. The hotel is old and in dire need of renovation. The restaurant was dirty and only open during breakfast. The wireless internet worked only half the time and was painfully slow when it did work. The elevators malfunctioned and smelled of urine. I got no help with my luggage and no one at the front desk thanked me for my business or asked how my stay was. I am surprised they have maintained the Ramada Flag.

When we first got there, our room was not clean. There were used towels everywhere. Unfinished milk sitting on the dresser. TV was on. Trash was not taken out. They moved us to another room. The new room was clean... sort of. When we got settled in the new room, we discovered the TV was broke. Not a good experience at all! Not even free wireless internet. I would recommend shelling out a few more dollars and stay at a different hotel.

Single pane windows let in a lot of street noise. Bathroom looked like a flashback to the early 80's.

Had to call front desk 3 times at Midnight to complain about noise level on our floor. Two of the calls went unanswered. Lots of yelling and shouting and doors slamming. Upon notifying the hotel clerk at departure, her response was unsympathetic at best. Complementary parking and downtown shuttle was nice, however.
