| When we arrived we were turned off by the odd location. It is next to a freeway, behind a gas station. But the motel was so clean and pretty inside. The staff is laid back, but friendly, and the breakfast was more than we expected. We were very close to Ft. Jackson, and our room was quiet, very clean, and had an iron, ironing board, and coffee. The shower had a massage showerhead. We would definitely stay there again. Great value for the price.

| I was there for my sons graduation from boot camp, very close and easy to get to from hotel. I got lost on way to hotel and hotel staff on duty practically stayed on phone with me giving me directions while i drove! Very impressed. Definately would recommend for clean reasonable room. Pool could use some work.

| There was an awful ordor in the lobby. You walk through a gauntlet of smokers to get to your car. Seemed almost unsafe. Don't stay off this exit.

| We came from Ohio to watch my daughter graduate from Fort Jackson Army Boot Camp. This hotel is very close (7 minutes)to Fort Jackson, and I would recommend it other Army families. The staff is very friendly and did every thing professional. We even forgot the camera cable and they mailed it to us in reasonable time.

| Hotel was OK. Hotel was difficult to find as it had just changed names and was set back off the road. Our toilet kept running and that was annoying, otherwise our first floor was nice. Rooms were quiet; we heard very little road traffic.

| First off, I drove all over the place looking for this hotel only to learn that it changed names after I made my booking. That was confusing enough, however, when I got to my room there was no toilet paper and it smelled like someone tried to cover up the cigarette smell with air freshener (it was a non-smoking room). Overall it wasn't bad, the staff was friendly and the free internet and newspapers were great. A bad first impression is hard to get rid of though. I might tell others to stay there but I'd recommend that they check out the other hotels in the area first.

| Room and hall smelled of bleach and deodorizer. Too strong of a smell to stay in the room. Bus load of teenagers running the halls and arguing. Actually left the hotel and checked into another for the final two nights.

| This hotel was just okay. I would never recommend it to anybody. The room smelled very bad. The second and third day I was there I was unable to take a hot or even warm shower. I even waited a while to see if the water would warm up and it never did. The continental breakfast that the hotel offered was nothing special but was adequate. Overall, if I stayed in this area again, I would not stay at the Baymont Inn and Suites.
