| Stayed there one day for a conference. Had a huge room, but the bed and bathroom were small. Bathroom showed a bit of wear and one annoyance was the fact that the shower curtain was placed such that it rested on your shoulder when showering. Room had internet-wired with reasonable speed, a TV-no cable i.e. only BBC 1-4, and no fridge. The conference facilities were good, the breakfast buffet was fairly decent, and the bar wasn't bad. Based on other hotels I've stayed at in the UK (usually London) this ranks as a reasonable value and above average quality. Hotel is on the water and near lots of interesting things to do. Hotel service was just OK. Contacted front desk about travel options both on arrival and departure and received answers that were not particularly helpful.

| Certainly not up to Hilton standards, by any means. Bar/lounge service was virtually non-existent as were appropriate furnishings (the place looked as if designed by a minimalist student on an assignment). Room was dreary. Will look for other accomodations in Brighton in the future.
