| Hotel is convenient to Metro (3 blocks from Silver Spring station) which makes it easily accessible to travellers arriving through Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The room was basic but clean, and the front desk staff was cheerful and helpful upon check in. The only shortcoming was a somewhat noisy air conditioning unit, which cycled on and off fairly often.

| I was not impressed with this hotel at all. Granted, it is rated at 1 1/2 stars so I shouldn't ask for much, right? Well, I didn't expect homeless people to be sleeping in the lobby, that's for sure. In addition, the actual room was relatively clean but very basic. The bed linen was so old that I could actually see through the bed sheets. There was exposed pipe in the bathroom and the air conditioning unit only worked in the "Fan" position.
