| The best part of this hotel was the war stories we all shared on the bus to the convention hall each morning. Every day was an adventure. Breakfast was a do-it-yourself buffet. It consisted of a half full gallon of milk and a big bin of corn flakes a few plastic spoons a box of no-name doughnuts, a few paper plates and some ancient coffee with no creamer. You had to get there early because there was always a strategic shortage of one key ingredients; exciting! Some folks reported the elevator to be full of beer bottles but I never had that problem. In fact my room was clean and dry and the maintainece man managed to make the shower produce not just cold water but luke warm water. When I first arrived in the room the shower knob was not connected to the valve. The internet connection was wirelss free and very slooo but that was probaly due to the huge numbers of people crowded in the lobby trying to get a connection. I left my watch in my room when I escaped (checked out) and called back about it the same day. Sadly but unsurprisingly they forgot to forward it to me.
