I planned a 36-hour layover in Hong Kong -- my first visit there -- after a grueling South East Asian business trip. Arriving late at night with lots of luggage, I wheeled the luggage cart right into the hotel lobby and checked in fast. The staff were efficient and friendly in a way that suited the situation -- tons of guests arriving and departing for short stays at all hours. The room was comfortable and quiet, with excellent individual air con control. The wireless internet access in the room was seamless. Next morning, it was a breeze to take the Airport Express train to Kowloon, sightsee all day, and then zoom back to the airport. Staying at this utilitarian and comfortable hotel saved a lot of hassles: shlepping heavy luggage onto trains or taxis; getting up in the wee hours to get to the airport for a morning flight; being in my room 10 minutes after collecting my luggage at the airport. I would stay at the Regal Park during any short visit to Hong Kong.

This hotel is right next to the airport. No taxi, no bus, short walk even can use airport luggage carts. It is expensive, but downtown is at least 30 minutes away and for changing flights and short layover it is perfect!

We were on our way back to USA. Good room, concierge service is really good. Did not try the food. Rooms are good sized and restroom/shower great. Just what a weary traveller needs. Things can be better: Hotel Check-In seems to take 15-20 minutes. Long lines. So sign up for express check out to avoid line
